i’m jess — best-selling author, speaker, and founder of dinner with strangers—and i would love to meet you.
I write, speak, and create experiences about the things that make us human: belonging, identity, curiosity, and how we find our way to one another. My work takes many forms, but it usually starts with a good question.
i design experiences that change how people relate to one another.
I started Dinner With Strangers in 2017 with one simple idea:
What might happen if we stopped asking people what they do for work and started asking better questions instead?
Since then, I’ve welcomed more than 1,000 people around tables, and designed conversations, workshops, conferences, retreats, and brand experiences for organizations including Wealthsimple, lululemon, Pinterest, The W Hotel, Staub, Altea Active, and Husmates.
CREATING THE CONDITIONS FOR CONNECTION
Jess’ sessions blend storytelling, reflection, and practical insight with the curiosity that's shaped her work over the past decade. Rather than simply leaving with something to think about, audiences are equipped with new questions to ask, new ways of seeing one another, and a renewed sense that meaningful connection is readily available to us when we practice reaching for each other.
